John 3:16-18
Soul rest is needed for both the unbeliever and believer. The unbeliever needs to rest from his efforts to produce righteousness through good works and rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Reader friend, if you are without Christ today, make him your Saviour by believing John 3:16-18:
For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Faith in Jesus Christ and His substitutionary atoning death on the cross and His resurrection from the grave enables the sinner to pass from condemnation into eternal life.
Unsaved friend, rest you soul in the promise of the faithful God who has promised no future condemnation, as found in John 5:24:
Verify, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Please don't delay, for no one has a promise of tomorrow. Rest your soul in Christ today.
