Minor League Rules
Spring 2002 Minor League Rules
1.
Time limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes
2.
The next inning begins when the last out is made. Finish the inning once
started.
3.
1 additional inning in case of tie.
4.
Play 10 players on defense.
5.
Players must play a minimum of every other inning.
6.
A batter is out for illegal action when he/she fakes a bunt and than takes a
full swing.
7.
Bat through the order.
8.
5 run limit per inning.
9.
No on deck batter, on or off field.
10.
One coach on first, one coach on third, all other coaches in dugout. All
coaches in dugout during defense.
11.
An adult catcher may not warm up pitcher AT ANY TIME.
12.
Base runners must slide or avoid contact with defensive player in the act of
making a play.

14.
When a manager, coach or player is ejected from a game, he/she shall leave the
field immediately and take no further part or have any contact with anyone in
the game. If the manager or coach remains at the field, he must be behind
the outfield fence and cannot communicate with any players and may not be
recalled. If a player is ejected from the game, he/she may sit in the
stands until in the care of their parent or guardian. Anyone ejected from
a game is suspended from the next physically played game and may not be in
attendance at the game site from which they are suspended.
A coach/manager ejected twice will no longer manage/coach this year.
15.
When a manager or coach is ejected from a game, one point will be deducted from
the team points.
