Coach Pitch Rules
2003 SPRING SEASON COACH PITCH RULES
1.
3 Coaches allowed during offense, 1 on first, 1 pitching and 1 on third.
All other coaches in dugout.
2.
1 Defensive coach in outfield. No other coaches allowed outside of dugout.
3.
If ball hits adult pitcher, it remains live, coach should go to foul line.
4.
Coach may not touch runner or runner is out.
5.
6 pitches per batter-if last pitch is fouled, continue until strike out or hit.
Bunting is not allowed.

All players play on defense. Regular infield, remaining players in
outfield.
7.
3 out or 5 run limit per inning.
8.
1 base on overthrow (this only affects the runner the overthrow is made on) all
runners advance at own risk.
9.
6 innings or 1 hour and 15 minute time limit.
10.
Bat through the order.
11.
Pitcher must have 1 foot in the circle.
12.
No on deck batter, on or off field.
13.
Base runners must slide or avoid contact with defensive player in the act of
making a play.
14.
When a manager, coach or player is ejected from a game, he/she shall leave the
field immediately and take no further part or have any contact with anyone in
the game. If the manager or coach remains at the field, he must be behind
the outfield fence and cannot communicate with any players and may not be
recalled. If a player is ejected from the game, he/she may sit in the
stands until in the care of their parent or guardian. Anyone ejected from
a game is suspended from the next physically played game and may not be in
attendance at the game site from which they are suspended.
A coach/manager ejected twice will no longer manage/coach this year.
15.
When a manager or coach is ejected from a game, one point will be deducted from
the team points.
