ScoreBook Assistant™ uses Microsoft's® Access database engine ScoreBook Assistant is built on top of Microsoft's® Access97 database engine. ScoreBook Assistant does not lock you into a seldom used or proprietary database format. There are millions of Access users around the world. Also, with ScoreBook Assistant you can connect your ScoreBook's database to other Microsoft® Office97 applications.
Sample database to help get you started Sample database (Sample.mdb) allows you to experiment with and learn about ScoreBook Assistant.
Online Help Help is available for all ScoreBook Assistant forms and menu items. In addition, Help contains overviews of all of ScoreBook Assistant's features. With ScoreBook Assistant, help is only a keystroke <F1> or click away.
Track stats by the type of game ScoreBook Assistant tracks statistics by the type of game. For example, the reports can group the statistics by league and/or tournament games.
Numerous Statistics tracked and calculated Calculates batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, home run percentage, strike out percentage, fielding percentage, stolen base percentage, average pitches per inning, strikes thrown percentage, ERA, etc.
Reports Print or display over 30 reports for players’ statistics and team totals. Batting, fielding and pitching statistics are available with a variety of sort options and formats from very simple batting averages to the detailed pitching information. Multi-season, statistical reports let you track and compare your players’ and team’s performance from year-to-year and track career averages and percentages. Also, team leaders and record holders in numerous catagories such as highest batting average and longest hitting streak can be printed.
Active and inactive record selection range for players and teams ScoreBook Assistant allows you to maintain active and inactive players and teams. This allows you, for example, to include inactive players in your ScoreBook reports. Also, it reduces your data entry time since only the active players are listed on the statistical input forms. In the event a player plays again in a future season, he/she can be easily reactivated and none of the previous season's information is lost.
Player information Name, address, phone, uniform sizes, birthday and age (if needed), team and parents' names are included in ScoreBook Assistant form fields and reports.
Manager and Coach information Name, address, phone numbers for your team's and opposing teams' coaches and managers are maintained by ScoreBook Assistant's database.
