The Knights plan to continue their season in October after enjoying a month off for students to get back to school. October Big Shots Top 40 Showcase events allow college coaches at all levels, including Div I to attend events for the October evaluation period.
The purpose of the Big Shots Top 40 Showcases is to allow players the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the recruiting service of Schneider All Star and correspondants with ESPN and Hoop Scoop Online and boost their recruitment before the start of their school season.
An evaluation on each player will be sent out to every head coach and assistant coach in the country at the Div. 1, Div. 2, Div. 3, NAIA, and JUCO level. In 2008, 269 players that played in the Big Shots events received Div. 1 scholarships. See the Big Shots U Alumni at www.bigshots1.com to see who has benefited from Big Shots events.

*October 3 - Fayetteville, NC (1 day event)
*October 4 - Myrtle Beach, SC (1 day event)
(the team will leave Fayetteville after that event and stay in Myrtle Beach, SC on the evening of October 3rd)
*October 17- Greensboro, NC
