Jones hits a blistering 27 points as Knights roll 97-47

It is no secret in Hampton Roads that guard Kris Jones (Kecoughtan HS) is a legitimate long range shooting threat. Well apparently it was not a well known fact to Newport News based 4 Corners Royalty who could not find a defensive answer for the sharpshooting guard who made good on 7 of his 12 field goal attempts hitting a game high 27 points in the Knights 97-47 win against 4 Corners Royalty. Jones can credit many of those looks to the dribble penetration of guard Tashawn Griffin who followed up a 9 assist game with 9 more in this win. The Knights also got double figure scoring from Keon Tatem (16 points), Lamarr Coles (15) and Alonzo Holmes (11).
