Knights players continue to stay in the exposure circuit and within sight of college coaches taking advantage of the October evaluation period that begins October 6th. On October 17th the Knights will participate in a 1 day Big Shots showcase event in Greensboro, North Carolina and will continue with a late October showcase event at Hoop Magic in Chantilly, VA. This is the continued effort of the Knights to ensure their players are the most exposed players in Hampton Roads and perhaps in Virginia. The Knights have already exhausted the critical July recruiting calender by participating in four of the biggest showcase events available including the two premier summer evaluation events in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Knights plan to continue this effort in future seasons and have already laid the groundwork to make 2010 as much, if not more beneficial to their players. The Knights will participate in every Big Shots event on the east coast in 2010 and include such events as DC Metro Showcase, Nike/Baltimore Elite Tournament and other events during the summer "non-live" periods where event coordinators make live video feeds of games available to college coaches. The video feeds continue to provide exposure opportunities where they would otherwise not be available.
