Date: July 22, 2009 at 17:00
The Knights 17U has had a busy season particularly a busy but profitable month of July. Profitable in that they have caught the eye of a number of college coaches during an impressive 4 win, 2 loss performance at the prestigious Big Shots Myrtle Beach event. The two losses were by a total of 6 points and of their 6 games, 3 were against highly respected, nationally recognized elite programs. The Knights now prepare for two more showcase events in the next week as they head to Charlotte, North Carolina this upcoming weekend followed just three days later by a showcase event in Greensboro, NC. With these two events coupled with the Myrtle Beach event, the Knights have given their players the absolute best exposure of any team in the Hampton Roads area. During the two key recruiting periods in July, the Knights will have participated in three of the most prestigious showcase events and played in front of hundreds of college coaches assuring their players unequalled exposure during these key "live" periods. Look for updates and game recaps from Charlotte and Greensboro right here on the Knights web page throughout the week.
