The Knights got big scoring efforts from Alonzo Holmes (16), Brian Daniels (14) and Tracy Elliott (12) and a solid floor game and defensive effort from DeQuan Rivera (8 assists, 6 rebounds, 5 steals) to stifle the West Iowa Knickerbockers 54-44 in Myrtle Beach, SC. After a sluggish start, Rivera was inserted along with Tyrice Thomas (9 rebounds, 3 steals) who both provided a much needed spark for the Knights on the defensive end. The Knights led by only three at halftime but played much more efficient in the second half to pull away for the win.
