Knights stay in high gear, roll to 68-27 win

TaShawn Griffen led three Knights in double figures scoring a game high 14 points leading the Knights frantic uptempo offense as they rolled to a 68-27 win against the Campbell County Wildcats in pool play of the USBA Virginia State Championships at the University of Richmond. The Knights offense is accompanied by a relentless combination of defenses and led to several fast break opportunities early as the Knights jumped to a 30-3 lead in the first 8 minutes stunning the Wildcats who had a much better showing back in a late April tournament when they battled the Knights tooth and nail for the better part of 3 1/2 quarters before losing 76-67.
