The Knights overcame a sluggish start, falling behind by as many as 11 points in the first half before getting on track to defeat the Campbell County All Stars 76-67 in the opening game of the Southside Virginia Spring Slam in Martinsville, VA. Holmes, who scored 7 straight points during a four minute span opening the 2nd half finished with a game high 16 points. Brian Daniels (9 points), Dequan Browne (9 points) and Joe Hassell (9 points) jumped on the sharpshooting All Stars early in the 2nd half and quickly erased the double digit deficit, the Knights cruised to the victory and improved to 5-0 on the season.
