The Norfolk Knights Elite is Norfolk's winningest basketball team and the only Hampton Roads team to have won a national championship featuring an all Hampton Roads roster. Since 1995 the Knights have accumulated a won/lost record of 287-135 (.680) with a national championship and four Virginia state championships as a member of USSSA, AAU, USBA and YBOA. The Knights feature some of Hampton Roads' top basketball talent participating in the country's most competitive basketball leagues. From it's beginning 14 seasons ago with only players from Norfolk, the Knights roster now includes members from all five southside cities in Hampton Roads. The team was formed to provide basketball competition and skills development for area youth while fostering leadership and educational advancement opportunities for it's members. 27 former Knights players have gone on to play basketball at the college ranks including 8 at the Division I level.
