playing time

Last night was our last practice of the season. The players and parents are sorry that our season will come to an end tomorrow with the last game. You say that NO ONE REALLY ENJOYS PRACTICE and that it is a NECCESSARY EVIL. We must have something in our water because these kids and parents love practice. We started August 1st with 57 kids who are in the 6th-8th grade. We ended up with 55 yesterday. One quit because Mommy got upset because he didn't make All-Stars. The other boy quit because he lied to his Coach and parents. ALL THESE KIDS LOVE PRACTICE! We built teams from individuals. We built athletes from boys. We built football players from athletes. We built success from blood, sweat and tears. Our players took a week off during Thanksgiving. When they came back last Sunday, the kids who hugged each other and their coaches, and stated how much they missed coming to practices, plus were glad to be back, was incredible. Practices should be FUN, EXCITING, REPITITIOUS, INSTRUCTIONAL, WORTHWHILE and SUCCESSFUL, and your players will love coming to them!

Final Note! We don't have any league rule other than Federation Rules with a few exceptions. Rule #1 is PLAY FOOTBALL!
and we do.
