sweeps

i agree...we play on turf, so we go for speed too...i use best tacklers at def end..stand up, off the outside shoulder of the end, or wing..his job is to get in the backfield as fast as he can....and try to blow up the play...and even if the play goes the other way, he chases thru the backfield, not down the line...they run alot of reverses, and counters in our league, and they have to "stay home"...and i use the fastest kids as outside lb..and they have outside contain...no matter what, noone gets outside of them...they also have the backs out of the backfield on pass plays...but i usually tell them, if the play comes their way, just go, we ll take our chances on passes, cant throw, if hes got 4 guys on him....and line up your def line in the gaps and try to make penetration ...get in the backfield, like the other coaches have said...and use your linebackers to cover whats left....get in the backfield, thats the key....
(use a "blast" play...where your nt blasts the center...he'll be thinking more about getting hit, than making the snap, and fumbles will happen...its worth a shot...good luck coach
