Coach Wade's playbook

By: Coach Rob

That would be a great idea. Get after him to do that. I run the old fashion power "i" and single wing offense. We stress good mechanics for our offensive line. We drill them every practice. Our guards are our best lineman as they have to pull on about 80% of our plays. I try to get at least 2-3 blocks at the point of attack. It must be working for we are 9-0 and going to the super bowl next sunday. It helps having a defense that is unscored upon! We average about 26 points a game. I coach 9-10's, next season I'm moving up to 10'11's and will be installing a double wing offense. They finished the season at 3-5. It should be a great challenge and I believe the double wing will offer the greatest success. So thats my off-season agenda, to compile a playbook, with the help of our local high school, as they run the same offense. Their also is a book and video tape that I just ordered from Coach Hugh Wyatt. I've heard nothing but the best from this program. Coach Wade I'll be sending you my playbook, and anyone else that wants to swap just e-mail me! I've got about 7 running plays that I run out of the two formations. Simplified so the youth can learn.
