Keeping Moms Off the Football Field

Okay, the handling of the situation is approved! (By this mom anyway). Besides, I don't think a parent should let their kids play for a coach that they didn't trust to handle an emergency. Nor should they be playing for a coach if the parents feel that they need to supervise practices to make sure their child is treated properly. As far as making sure the child is treated with respect...how about making sure the child is treating the coach with respect?. I demand that from my children towards all adults, and in return, they get it back.

Coach Wade-
It's too bad your mom didn't make it to more games. I really feel for the kids who never have anyone there to watch them. I NEVER miss a game. It is my life. I can't imagine the look on one of my boys faces if, after making a great play, they turn around to look at the bleachers and nobody was there for him.
And please, don't thank me, my hat is off to you and the many other coaches who give these kids the opportunity of not only playing ball, but the life lessons that they will hopefully carry with them later on. I have the utmost respect for you guys.
