Ideas on getting all 35 players involved.

I am the head coach for 9-11 yera olds. I have a huge problem with disorganization.
It seems that every year no matter how hard I try to get everyone involved
I still fall back on 8 to 10 players. This year I vowed it would be different and
We attacked the season with two completely different offenses comprised of
12 players each. Blue Offense was power and could run the ball between the
tackles and Silver Offense which had better speed and could run outside and
pass pretty well. We took our 11 best players (the starting defense) and split
them between The Blue and Silver offensive teams. We also pulled out 6-8
agressive players that we thought had the best defensive potential and they
worked strictly on defense. This worked well for our Defense even though the
starters only got one practice a week together. Two practices a week were
offensive and all players except for the 6-8 chosen defenders worked offense.
At the end of practice we would scrimmage for 10 minutes with each offense.
So if Blue Offense was running plays the defenders from Silver would fill in on
defense and vice versa. Our defense was solid all year however it took almost
half the season to get both offenses on track. By the last two games we were
able to alternate offensive possessions throughout the game. I would invite all
coaches to share their ideas on this because as we all know you are only as
strong as your MPR players.
