Lindsey Johnson #1 in Canada for Digs

Libero
Lindsey Johnson has earned OUAA and CIS honours for the first half of the
season for total digs and digs per game. Excluding players with just
a handful of games Lindsey is #1 in Ontario and #1 in Canada for digs per
game, and a close fifth in Canada for total digs with quite a few games in
hand. In the last match-up of 2005 she posted an amazing 43
digs against the OUAA #1 Western Mustangs.

What an
unbelievable weekend for Durham Attack! On the seventh weekend of
the season, seven teams set out to various points of the compass to do
battle against competing clubs. And all seven teams brought home
medals!
15U #1 and #2!
For the boys.... in their first tournament of the season in Kingston
our 15U boys beat all comers and faced each other in the Provincial Cup final.
It was neck-and-neck, but in the end 15U Red let 15U Black off the hook; 15U Black won the Gold
and 15U Red the Silver.
16U Medal Fest!
All
four Girls 16U and 15U teams played in the 16U MacGregor Cup and all
four teams brought
home medals - two Gold and two Bronze.

16U Penguins
went 10-0 in their first tournament of the season at the Provincial Cup
in
Kingston. The Penguins beat
Ottawa Kangaroos 25-23, 25-21 in the final, to bring home the Gold.

to Move Youth Beach Competitions to Sunday in 2006 |

since the adults want to play on Saturdays they will be moving
youth tournaments to Sundays in 2006. Does this sound

Kim Todd repeats as BIG EAST Player of the Week

Sophomore outside hitter/middle blocker Kim Todd earned her second
consecutive BIG EAST Player of the Week honor. She posted an
astounding 35 kills, setting a school record for individual kills in a
match, while hitting .520 in Marquette’s 3-2 decision over Seton Hall.

Kim Todd is BIG EAST Player of the Week

Kim Todd of
Marquette Golden Eagles was named BIG EAST Player of the Week for the
week of October 31, with arguably her best performance in
back-to-back games. Kim registered 22 kills, 13 digs and nine blocks,
just shy of her first career triple double in the win over Wildcats on
Oct. 28. She followed that with her sixth double double of the season
nailing 17 kills and 14 digs in the sweep of the Scarlet Knights on Oct.

is organizing a fundraising trip to Casino Rama on Nov 19th. Bus
departs Leo J. Austin at 12:00 noon, returning for home at 7:00 pm.
