18U Boys Win Silver in Ottawa December 17, 2005 Quick Links :all 18U articles The U18 Boys team began their season in style with a silver at the U18 Provincial Cup in Ottawa.   In pool play the team went undefeated but had some great battles, particularly against The Ottawa Mavericks.  The boys prevailed in three sets to win their pool and earn a bye to the semi-final versus Kingston.  Despite a second set let down the team cruised to a third set win with a score of 15-13 setting up for the final against The Scarborough Falcons.    Unfortunately, the boys had a rough go in the final getting roughed up by the older, more experienced Falcons, losing in straight sets.  Still, a great start to the season and the boys are very hungry for more.    Well done boys!
