Girls 13U Red Compete at McGregor Cup in Bowmanville Story by Norma Ackerley   The girls 13U Red represented Durham Attack at the McGregor Cup tournament in Bowmanville on December 10. The girls started the day with a win against Pegasus Black (25-15, 25-23). They continued to play competitively against the Ganaraska Wolves and the Ottawa Kangaroos, but lost close matches to both teams in tie-breaker games.   Next, the girls faced the Rattlers (23-25 and 16-25).  After taking 1 of 3 very close games in their final match against DRVC, the team finished 7th in Zone E.   Throughout the day, the girls demonstrated great team spirit and had a lot of fun.  Many thanks to Scott Handley for his excellent coaching, and to the Richardsons and Emersons for the great lunch and snacks.
