The girls
started strong and continued their drive for gold, never becoming discouraged
and always fighting back to maintain their first place status. Despite some
on-the- bench coach antics (Adam shows the girls how to dive from a sitting
position, and Paul denies making rude noises), our girls maintained their focus
and poise. What a class act. They went undefeated in pool play (Toronto West
25-5, 25-17; Forest City Green 25-22, 25-18; Stingers Black 25-22, 20-25, 15-10)
and continued their domination in crossover matches (Barrie Elites 25-12, 25-19;
Niagara Rapids 25-13, 25-16; Bandits Teal 19-25, 25-20, 15-10) |
