Durham
Attack’s 18U girls won Silver in their 1st Tier 1 tournament of the season in
Ottawa this past weekend.
The competition
proved to be tough with four of their six matches going to 3 games. They placed
1st in their pool against London’s Forest City, Peel Selects and DRVC from
Whitby.
They defeated
Waterloo Tigers Black in the quarter finals 25-10, 25-16 and the Scarborough
Falcons in the semi’s 24-26, 25-19, 17-15. After a very long day, they went up
against the National Capitals from Ottawa in the finals. Durham Attack dominated
the 1st game 25-20, but the Ottawa team came back in strong fashion winning the
final 2 games 21-25, 6-15. |
