This tournament was close to home, Whitby. It gave the opportunity for
extra friends and family to come watch and lend support. And boy oh boy,
did the girls ever put on a show.
1st Match ….. DRVC Blue
Game 1….It seemed that Attack White enjoyed and benefited from a power bar for
breakfast. We won 25-13
Game 2….DRVC fought back and our girls were not going to let this game go
quietly. In the end, DRVC took the game 23-25.
Game 3….This brings us to the best game we had all day. The tie breaker, better
known as the nail biter. The score was tied 6 times:
2-2, 5-5, 8-8, 9-9, 11-11, 14-14. Our girls had great communication and
played their positions very well. This lead them to a victory and their
1st match win of the day. We won 16-14.
2nd
Match….Storm Blast
Game 1….07-25, lost.
Game 2….26-28, lost but a superior effort by all.
3rd Match…Maverick Rattlers
Game 1….21-25, lost.
Game 2….Another nail biter with 4 ties throughout the game 6-6, 21-21, 22-22,
24-24. In the end, our team pulled ahead and won 26-24.
Game 3…Both teams wanted this win. It went back and forth 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6.
The outcome—we won 15-10.
After a short break, and a rushed lunch, we had the crossover.

Game 1…22-25, lost.
Game 2…15-25, lost.
5th Match…Soaring
Eagles
Game 1…25-17, won.
Game 2…25-14, won.
During this match the girls looked relaxed and looked like they were
having fun.
