Last weekend the Durham Attack Boys 15U Red traveled through snow, freezing
rain, rain and fog to get to the Nittany 2 tournament in York, Pennsylvania.
This eventful journey did not deter the boys from winning their Saturday morning
pool and advancing where they were undefeated and again ranked 1st.
Due to creative
scheduling they were the only 1st place team to play quarter finals and though
they kept the games close were defeated and unfortunately eliminated from the
tournament. With a 7 and 2 record the boys finished 5th and played some of their
best volleyball this season.
All of the parents
are very proud of the boys, who showed great improvement and much determination
over the weekend. A special thanks to their coach, Chris Davis, for taking the 3
days to join them at the tournament and of course, to all the parents.
