The team was excited to be in our first tier 3, 15U tournament.  After winning gold in the previous U15 tournament, the girls were pumped!

The first match of the day was against the 5th seeded Burlington Blaze.  Unfortunately, the month off between tournaments showed and we started slower than we had hoped losing 19-25, 21-25.

The next match was against the 2nd seed Bandits Teal.  The girls came out stronger in this match against a better opponent but came up short losing 15-25, 22-25.

Our next game was against 8th seeded and under ranked Predators with the strongest middle we have faced this year.  The girls put forth a good effort in the two matches 17-25, 8-25.

The cross over match against FC Green was a fresh start for us changing to our red shirts.  Unfortunately, the new shirts did not work for us this time, 18-25 & 16 -25 meant we were on our way home early with a 9th place finish.  If we get a chance to play FC again next week in Windsor I am sure the result will be different.

The highlight of the day was our team building with Linda!  The team is improving together with nobody blaming others for losing points despite dropping our matches today – way to go girls!

Windsor here we come!
