Durham Attack U15 Red
placed 5th in the 16U Bugarski Cup (zone D) tournament in Bowmanville
on February 9.
The team started the day
with a well played match against Interclub 15U, winning both games.
After a short break, Attack faced the 10th ranked SFVC, and won the
match in a tie breaker. The final match in pool play pitted
Attack Red against the 3rd ranked Titan Soul. The Titans played
hard, but Attack Red was a worthy adversary. The games were
competitive and Attack made the Titans work for every point.
Ultimately, the Titans took both games, however the score was close
and Attack felt good about their performance on the court.
Durham Attack placed second in pool C, and went into the cross over
match with good energy. Unfortunately, the team narrowly lost both
games, and was out of medal contention.
The final match was exciting and fast paced. Attack Red kept up
the pressure to take both games and 5th place in the tournament.
