Simons of Stoney Creek Mountain were "The Team" to watch this past
Saturday, August 4th at Ashbridges Bay in Toronto where they competed
in the 2007 Ontario Provincial Beach Volleyball Championships. This
duo played together for the first time dominating play throughout the
day, not losing a single set, let alone a match.
It was
difficult to believe, as one watched, that the pair had not
played together prior to this event as they worked in unison in a way
that made it seem like they had been playing together for years.
The
newly formed partnership will now prepare and train together for the
Canadian National Beach Volleyball Championships being held in Toronto
at Ashbridges Bay Aug 24-26 where they will go in seeded ONTARIO #1.
