The 18U
team continued with their medal streak but this time managed to bring
home the Gold from Brock University on March 24th.
An
exciting day of volleyball was demonstrated as the girls exhibited
amazing kills and exciting defense. After coming first in their
pool, the girls showed their power against Forest City winning 25-16,
25-17. When matched against the Waterloo Tigers, again the girls were
able to take the match in two games, 25-20, 25-23. In the final
game the girls were off to a strong start winning 25-19, however, they
struggled in the second match 13-25. Like true champions, the
girls were able to regroup and show their skills and team spirit to go
on to win 15-11.
An
exciting 18U Provincials will been seen as the girls battle to defend
their title!
