It’s only been a few short weeks since practices began in earnest, but
already the 13U White ladies are showing a lot of promise! They
are working hard on their basic skills, their strategies for defensive
and offensive play, and their conditioning, although I think that the
girls would prefer fewer wall-sits (they are, however, developing into
a fine choral group during that exercise!)
The focus is always on having fun and teamwork, but there is a fine
competitive edge developing. With some fearsome serves already
appearing in the ranks, this promises to be a good year for our ladies
in White!
Our
first challenge will be the Provincial Cup, and we’re looking forward
to sharing in the success of all our club-mates, and especially the
13U Red and Black teams.
All we can say is…look out world, HERE WE COME!!
