The 14U
Black team played their first tournament Nov 4th in Kingston. What an
exciting day of volleyball!
14U Black
were undefeated, winning all their matches until the Gold Medal match against
14U DRVC. Both games were nail biters with each team hitting hard and
digging deep to display some of the best volleyball seen all day.
Great
blocking and strong serving were impressive and skillfully performed by both
teams. DRVC were unable to gain more than a 1 - 2 point lead in both sets.
Set 1 was tied right up until the end where DRVC was able to defeat Black 25 -
22. The second set was just as exciting but DRVC took the lead to win 25 -
20.
14U Black
has a group of strong, talented and skilled athletes who will be unstoppable
this season!
