Durham Attack | 13U Black in 14U Provincial Cup

The 13U Black team played their first tournament on November 4th. They played in Kingston and had an early start. This was a 14U tournament and the girls showed both heart and skills for the game.

In pool play the girls were strong, only losing to our own 14U Black team (11-25 and 13-25). With wins against Pegasus Dynamites 25-10, 25-6 and Ottawa Kangaroos 25-6 and 25-21 finishing the pool play in second.

After a long wait the girls went into the play-offs and won the first game against the Ganaraska Wolves 25-19. In the second game we came up short losing 25-5, which led to a tie breaker game. The girls were losing, rallied back, but could not make up the points that they lost. We then had to play our own U13 Red team for 9th place. We came through, finishing ninth, with scores of 25-18 and 25-21 for our first 14U tournament this year.
