With the sport of
beach volleyball exploding in Ontario and more specifically in the Durham
Region, it was only a matter of time before a partnership was born.
Devils' Den Golf and Beach Volleyball Centre and Durham Attack Volleyball Club
have joined forces in a number of different ventures.
Durham Attack
continues to do everything in its power to offer quality volleyball programs and
opportunities to athletes in the Durham Region. What does this mean for its
members? All Durham Attack players and coaches will now receive 10% off facility
rental, corporate functions, food and drink (non-alcoholic) and all league and
tournament registration at Devils’ Den Beach Volleyball Centre.
Not
only that but Devils’ Den will be running the only youth 2s league in all of
Ontario specifically aimed at Durham Attack members. Devil’s Den will also
be hosting 5 different tournaments throughout the summer:
June 24th,
Devil’s Beach School Tournament
(players must be from the same school)
Boys & Girls divisions 14U, 16U, & 18U, $60/team
July 15th
Devil’s Beach Co-ed 4’s
(this tournament will be a Durham Attack Fundraiser)
Youth and Adult Divisions, $140/team
July 22nd
Devil’s Beach Co-ed 3’s
Open competitive and recreational divisions, $90/team
August 12th
Devil’s Beach Adult Co-ed 4’s
Open competitive and recreational divisions, $140/team
August 19th
Devil’s Beach Breast Cancer Research Co-ed 4’s
Open competitive and recreational divisions, $160/team

The third and final aspect of this three-pronged partnership is the creation of
Durham’s first beach volleyball club. Devils’ Beach Volleyball club is the
brainchild of Durham Attack alumni and coach Lindsay Gosse and Durham Attack
coach, Evan Williams. Both Lindsay and Evan are extremely excited about
the opportunity to offer beach volleyball technical and tactical training to
athletes in the Durham Region and beyond. To add to this Lindsay and Evan
will also be offering private lessons to both youth and adults in a private,
semi-private and group environment. If you are interested in becoming a
