U12 Black
Girls Attack went into the Provincials seeded 10th. Winning the pool play
right off the bat set the wheels in motion. The girls were all in the
right frame of mind and ready to go for Gold! Despite the parents trying to
contain their excitement, everyone kept a positive attitude and cheered for the
girls no matter what (HEYYY!!).
Paul made sure the girls stayed on track
and they kept in touch with Katherine via cell phone as to how the games played
out. After winning all our games we were finally in the running for 1st or
2nd against Etobicoke Titans.
First game was a close loss for us,
26-24.
The 2nd game was a win for Attack 25-20.
Then down to a third and final, nail
biting, blood pressure raising, point-for-point game. We WON! 16 - 14 to clinch
the GOLD!
