With their
strongest performance on the court, Durham Attack’s U13 Girls Black team placed
3rd in the OVA’s Ontario Championship’s U14 division tier 3 to capture the
bronze medal.
The two day
tournament had been marked by some of the most exciting volleyball to date.
Undefeated until the semi-finals, the girl’s maturity and focus was evident as
they triumphed in the 3rd set in 4 from 5 games before falling to the Toronto
Vipers. Undaunted by the setback, the girls re-grouped and rallied together to
defeat the Ottawa Kangaroos (25-23)(25-20) for their decisive 3rd place finish.
