The tournament got off to a great start on Friday evening with the girls winning their first game to the Toronto Toros 25/15 but the match went into a tie-beaker with the win going to the Toros.  The second match of the evening consisted of two close games especially the second game which went into a nail biter ending with a final score of 26/24 for the Toronto Vipers.

The girls left pumped and ready to play more exciting games the following day.

On Saturday, the second day of the tournament, the first match went to the girls defeating the J.S.W. Wildcats in a tie breaker game 15/3!  Way to go girls!!

Unfortunately, the girls lost the second match to the Halton Hurricanes 25/13 and 25/23. The girls advanced to the consolation round defeating the Toronto Toros in two straight matches 25/19 and 25/20.  Overall, the girls finished fifth in the tournament.

It was a great day and girls displayed their usual enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the entire tournament. With every tournament the girls show greater skills especially with respect to their serving and setting.

Many thanks to the coaches (Janet, Dan and Scott) for their outstanding support and skill development with the girls.
