On February
25th, the U14 Red Girls Team competed in the Bugarski Cup Tier 3 in Newmarket.
The girls came second in pool play and advanced to the playoff rounds. They won
2 games straight against the Etobicoke Titans 13 U and advanced to the
semi-finals. In the semi-finals, they played the Scarborough Titans and
won, which advanced them to the finals against South County Bandits.
After a nail biting
close first game which saw the girls lose by only 3 points, the girls were
defeated by the Bandits and were proud to bring home Silver Medals.
