The sport of Cheerleading

Cheerleading meets all the requirments that would make it a sport..as someone said if you look it up in the dictionary.

Someone said something about the lengths of cheerleading, and how far we go to please people. That is what cheerleading is all about.. To get the crowd involved, and supporting the team. (not including all stars). People may not clap or say OHHH AHHH while cheerleaders are performing..but at games that is NOT the point of being there. People how ever do notice when the cheerleaders are not there.. I had a few people come up to me once..and say "wow I never realized how boring the game is without the cheerleaders"..the reason the cheerleaders were not there, was because of a squad spead illness..As well as odd things..2 girls in a car accident..etc.
So just because we do not hear it first hand.. we are needed, and make things better.

Also we do not need other sports to cheerlead. All-star squads are growing more and more..and these do not cheer for anyone but themsevles.. Therefore if there were no other sports..cheerleaders would just become all all-star teams.. Cheerleaders are doing sport teams a favor by giving them so much support..weither they realize it or not..Some will say they hate them there..but those people just do not know how to respect and be thankful.
