You have to look at how much she was making oyu cheer.. Most cheerleading squads cheer everyday.. when I cheered in high school we cheered 6 days a week...Was your old program a lot less strict?..and was this coach coming in and just trying to change things? What was so bad that you could not handle it?

All other sports practice every day, plus games...what makes cheerleading different? It should be hard work..

I am not saying that your coach was right.. I do not know what exactly she was doing.. I do know however that when I started working my girls extremly hard, when I first started coaching.. the girls complained that I was working them too hard.. and I was not at all... they now realize this.

Anyway, Now you need to find a coach.
Put an ad in the local paper.. and have it asking for a coach.. many people even love to volunteer.. including me!.. Also see if a parent(who was so concerned that you were being overworked) will volunteer there time to advise you..and you can cheer on your own the way you like untll you can find a real coach..
