i need help

By: Lisa Day

Kelli,
Best advice would be to try and to give it your best. I am a cheerleading coach, I am 25 yrs. old now. When I first made the squad I was entering my freshmen year in high school. It was very hard to make the squad at my school but I made it with little experience. Try to enroll in a tumbling course at a local gymnastis center. That can make a huge difference. When I was practicing for tryouts I would stay up all night in the yard .
Some of the other mothers criticized my mother for allowing it. It was something I wanted so badly I was willing to hurt, tire, sweat and lose friends. One of my worst critics was my best friends mother. Needless to say when I made the team and she didn't, I lost a best friend. My passion for it has died down but I still find alot of enjoyment in teaching others and seeing the passion reborn in childrens faces every year.
