help on offense for 11-12 year old boys and girls

The first thing to remember is that we are not reinventing the wheel. It is better to run one or two offenses well than alot of offenses terrible. It sounds like you have some weak players so you need to give them a "role" so they feel part of the team. This way they do not feel too put out by their lack of scoring.

I would suggest either a motion or flex offense.

The motion offense I run is basically passing, cutting, filling in open space. Teach to reverse the ball and have good floor balance. This will allow your stronger players a chance to take control if need be, or help to create scoring opportunities for weaker players.

There is a website where they diagram the flex offense pretty well (although there are numerous variations of the flex). I do not know the address off of the top of my head I will check and reply with it.
