soft hands mitts:
go to target, wal-mart, etc and buy a sleeping bag matt.(about
$7.00 to 8.00). Use a freesbee or large plate as template. Cut
out two circles. Take a hot glue gun and glue around the circle
about 1/8 to 1/4 inch from the outside edge. Once glue dries cut
about 1 to 2 inches off the bottom. This will create a hand hole.
Have the kids use these instead of baseball glove. roll slow
grounds or toss the ball to them. The only way to catch the ball is
with two hands.

Weighted baseball to strenghten throwing arm.
Fill cup with colored food coloring and let ball soak in water
over night. Take ball out and let dry. Ball will weight about 2 oz.
heavier. I use the food coloring to stain the ball so I don't use it
during batting practice or fly ball drills.

Had my mother make several bean bags about the size of a
racquetball. Use these for fly ball drills. Challenge for the kids to
catch. They can also catch them bear handed. Once the get use
to them it makes a baseball look like a grapefruit coming in.
