Trust me, the "K" ball works!

I learned about this beauty last fall while helping to coach fall high school ball. My friend told me about his famous "K" balls, but until I saw them I didn't think they could possibly do anything. I was wrong.

All you need is a roll of duct tape, and some old newspapers. Take a sheet of newspaper and crunch it into a ball. Take the duct tape and wrap it around the ball of paper. You can make many of these in a very short period of time, and you can vary the size of the balls by changing the amount of paper you use. Pre-game batting practice can be had without worrying about someone taking a shot off a bat. Varying the size of the balls aids in eye/hand coordination.

Players will laugh when you first bring them out, but they work. You can even throw ground balls indoors using them. Probably the worse thing that might happen is you could be charged with littering if you don't pick them up afterwards!
