Sometimes if I can see the seams of the ball, and I can figure out which way the ball is going to brake, how fast it is going, and if its a ball or a stike. You may want to train your eyes so they can read the pitch as well. In the batter's box hold your bat vertically so the brand of the bat is sideways. Then focus on the bat and look at the center fielder. It should take a few seconds for your eyes to adjust. After repeating this several times it should be simple for your eyes to adjust. When you are up to bat look at the pitchers head and then at the ball as it comes towards you. This should allow you to either read the seams or see the ball more clear.
