ctandc - Don't think that the parents of this kid haven't thought about that movie a lot the past few weeks - it's a classic. I know that you're a good poster and it's good to look at the lighter side of things, but while it may be funny from a distance, it's been pure hell for the kid and his family (as I'm sure you're aware). It's gotten so bad that the dad has stopped sitting with many of the other parents because he can't stand the comments made after an error is committed. It's mostly from bitter parents who have kids sitting on the bench - "my kid could have made that play" type of thing.

There was some good news from Wednesday night's game. Our SS was tossed from the game for making a fake tag at second base. Nice kid, stupid play. Our second baseman with the throwing problem was forced to move over to SS and actually made a few plays without incident. Maybe this is the solution... He was the SS last season but was moved to second base because the Junior moving up to the varsity is a better fielder.
