"shut up and hit" I modified a saying about Carribeans for my son. He has a great OB% even though his hitting has been soft. ..... "You won't walk your way to varsity." Stop taking so many pitches and hack way. His outlook is he's getting on, stealing bases and scoring runs. But a player has to drive the ball on JV to play varsity.
