We ordered ours directly from SPRI Products, Inc. 1-800-222-7774. I recommend the "original xertube," which is about $5. Choose green (model XT-L) for an 11-12 y.o., red or blue for a grown man. These tubes come with handles. I don't think you need the one with the baseball attached. All you do is attach one end (tie to a fence, etc.) or step on the tube at some point, and pull the handle from various angles and at various tensions. An exercise chart comes with the tube, but I prefer the diagrams in Tom House's book, The Pitching Edge. I can't add much to Bear's explanation of the exercise value, except to say that in addition to training the tubes are great for warming up before a practice or game, especially on a cold day. They're very efficient at involving all of the muscles and tendons, etc.
