Medals for the "losers"

I agree that all the kids deserve a comemerative medal for their effort and hard work for the season. As a parent I watched all of the boy's practices and games. Win or lose I enjoyed every minute of watching them and cheering them on. They worked hard and had a good time. They played double headers two days in a row in 94 degree weather. They played many tournament games in the cold rain. They lost a lot of games, but by the end of the season we were winning a few and sometimes when we lost it was by a narrow margin of a run or two.
The boys cheered each other on through almost hopeless losses and some very close wins. I watched each boy struggle through their own ups and downs and work hard to overcome slumps. A few times we played our games with 8 players and we even won one of them. The boys came a long way and grew into a team this year. I am proud of every one of them and if I could I would give every boy an MVP medal because even though they might be the "losers" in the league, in my book they are all winners.

IMHO
