Hitting Question

By: Kathy

I believe that growth spurts will throw a childs hitting, pitching, etc. off kilter for a while. I think it has more to do with the brain having to "catch up" to the new length of the arms and legs and "relearning" how to control their coordination. I have experienced this with my own son who does train baseball year round. I feel that many short term "slumps" can be attributed to this.

IMHO,
Kathy
