Why Little League?

Make no mistake about it LL is not for everyone. It can be and is often very political but has structure even at a national level which is matched by no youth sports organization. LL is the largest youth baseball organization in the world. Aau, Aabc, Bambino, etc. do have a different level of competition though. LL all-stars are very competitive and give the better players a chance to showcase their skills and play against a level of competition that challenges them. So LL all-stars give you a chance for the best of the best to play while regular season play gives you a chance for more kids to play. On our traveling team we have 14 players. Our LL has 96. The 14 are all all-star caliber. Which is better? Depends on your desires. We enjoy both and we are starting a 13-14 yr. old traveling team to take the place of Babe Ruth and Senior LL. This will be for those kids that have aspirations of college ball someday and realize the price they need to pay to get there.
