Left handed Infielders

By: Chris

Problem: Three lefthanded kids on the team. All good infielders. 7 - 8 year olds. The smallest (my son) shows early signs of being the best 2nd baseman on the team. He is only seven and has overcome the lefthanded handicap of turning and throwing to first base. For his age he's very knowledgeable force outs, when and where to throw etc., a good little player. One of the other kids is a perfect copy of Atlanta' Fred M. He will only play first, He grumbles anywhere else. The third lefty will play anywhere, but can't make the throw to first. The older and bigger righties either throw to hard or can't throw at all. Please advise.
